I became a caregiver because I care about the well-being of the elderly. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel good inside. I am dependable, responsible, and honored to take care of the patients I meet and have a positive impact on their lives. I have up-to-date CNA and BLS certifications. I also have 6 years' experience working with the elderly, assisting them with eating, bathing, dressing, toileting etc. I get a sense of satisfaction from helping patients feel comfortable and loved.

What makes me a great caregiver is my inability to give up. I will push until my patient receives the proper treatment and is fully satisfied. I love working as a caregiver making sure my client has comfort when no one else is around and they always have a smile until their no longer requesting my service. I got into this field with my own experience dealing with my grandmother who died from Alzheimer's it was really hard not being able to speak up for her and make her feel more comfortable so I vowed to speak up for those in need and make sure to never fail them.

My personal achievements finished HS and was able to be my parents caregiver. Gave me more time especially with my mom and brought us closer. What brought me to this was my mom got sick I was in a trade school two weeks shy of graduating and I decided to care for my mom. I'm willing to learn more if need be. In 2020 I combined both of my interests & became a Direct Support Professional. In 2022 I took it a step further & became a Certified Nursing Assistant .
