Hello! My name is Rachel Holley. I am a loving, compassionate, punctual person. I always knew I wanted to be in the nursing field because I love to help people. I help people of all ages. I am a licensed STNA and have been for four years now. I enjoy being in healthcare because I have the passion to taking care of them.

I am so people person and I enjoy to take care of others. I have been assisting with my fathers care for the past nine years. He is a Vietnam veteran who is a double amputee who still suffers from PTSD. Because of taking care of him I want to help other families because I understand how hard it is when a family member falls ill and needs a companion!

I am a 57 year old energetic and reliable State Tested Certified Nursing Assistant with a Strong Work Ethic and over 10 years of experience. I have worked in both Nursing Home care and Homecare.

I became a STNA when I was 16 with the intended goal to make a difference in people's lives. For the last 7 years I've cared for a lot of amazing people and I continue to meet and care for residents with the same goal as when I started - to make a difference in people's lives and to be a light in the healthcare industry. Meeting people from all over, listening to their stories and helping them in a challenging time in their lives is something I'm very proud to say I do almost everyday.

I became a caregiver because I love to take care of people I enjoy meeting new people and I am dependable and reliable I like to make sure the client has what him or her needs I also like to let them do things for themselves as much as they can I am a good listener I do light housekeeping and errands and personal care I also like to take the clients for walks if the weather is nice I like being a caregiver because I like to give back and help whoever needs help.

I've worked with numerous medical conditions, nothing scares me. I'm a very active person with my husband & my daughter who is a 2nd degree blackbelt. My son is ready to graduate from college. In my free time, I am spending time with my family & enjoy my church. My youngest baby is fury, my German Shepherd is Mommas Baby. Im a happy person & that reflects in the spirit I bring to my job. I also just graduated with my Bachelors degree and plan on furthering my education to become an Occupational Therapist. I have been a caregiver since i was 16 years old. I started out taking care of my great grandmother and then continued on to nursing homes and doing home health. I love connecting with my clients and listening to everything that they have to tell me!

I became a caregiver after taking care of both of my parents who suffered from cancer. As soon as I started taking care of their daily needs, I knew it was something I wanted to do as a career. I have worked with almost 15 families over the years! From showering, meal prep, doctors visits, surgery recoveries, or just providing companionship, I have loved every minute of my job!

Being a caregiver has been very rewarding in knowing I am able to make others feel good in their daily lives with assistance of daily living. They feel secure which makes me feel good and proud to assist. I have alot of compassion and heart for anyone.
