I am a very reliable, honest, and compassionate worker. I take pride in my work and will give the upmost respect when caring for others. I have always enjoyed caring for others. It is very rewarding and I thrive on seeing a job well done. I am very proud of spending 12 years helping families navigate through the transitions loved ones go through during the end of life.

I have been doing caregiving for about 5 years now. I love to help people out and love talking and hanging out. I wanted to become a caregiver since i was young because i loved the fact that you get to help people out.

I'm a professional with an easy personality, I have traveled to various parts of the world while serving my Country, so I've lived with diversity on a very large scale. I enjoy the Care field as it gives me satisfaction while working with others to bring change to those in distress.

HI there. I seem to always remind people of someone else. I smile a LOT. And love conversation BUT... that does not mean I talk a LOT either. Some of my clients are more on the quiet side and I "go" with that. People are interesting. EVERYONE has a story to tell and of course, everyone's story is unique. Sometimes my client and I will go into the kitchen and cook or bake and some clients HATE to be in the kitchen. Do you love to take walks? How about drive around and "see the sights"? Ahhh... how about this--- a great game of Dominos? OK.. you don't like those? No problem. I love crafts... how about taking great pictures? Are you a camera buff? Can you sing? Play a musical instrument? I was a piano and french horn major in college. Well.. maybe you are more of a reader. OH YES! I love to read! One of my favorite hobbies -- love to read especially Reader's Digest or.. how about this one, "This Ole House".. or a gardening book? You love animals? So do I. Maybe you need a haircut. I have cut my client's hair because they can't get out. Just in case you are wondering....... no.... never have done that for a living-was never trained in that profession but just watching others do it and I love to learn new things. Right now, reading a how-to book... on plumbing. So.. is there anything your are interested in learning? Never too old to learn new things.

I love helping! My grandmother had a huge influence on my life. I have done everything from a to z in eldercare situations. I love it. I don't have grandparents anymore, so my clients are special people in my life. I'm basically quiet but always positive and smiling. I have my CNA, I worked on the Cardiac monitors, so I feel comfortable with situations where some don't. I also took my LPN but didn't test, bc my father was dying from cancer.. I took care of him and realized I liked taking care of people and serving on an up close and personal level.

I'm patient and precise in my duties. I have years experience in caring for elderly and the developmentally disabled. Caring for those in society that aren't fully capable is my calling. I'm most proud of what I've been able to learn from each one of my previous clients.

As a young teenager, I would help give care to my great grandma as well as her home health nurses that came in and worked endlessly to make sure she had the best day she possibly could have. Seeing how drastically her days would change depending on who walked through the door, it lead to me wanting to go to college to become a nurse. If I could choose anyone to care for my loved one, I would want someone like me to give the position to. I have seen how illnesses can make someone, once so prideful, feel as if they aren't worthy anymore. My main goal is to make sure that, even on the bad days, your loved one would feel as if they were still as independent as they used to be and that they know they can rely on and trust their care giver. I would work endlessly to give your loved one the care and love that they deserve. I have many years of experience in this area. I attended Pioneer Technology Center in my high school years in order to receive my CNA license, I am currently enrolled at Meridian Technology Center in Stillwater to become an EMT, and after completing my course there, I will re-enroll at Northern Oklahoma College to complete my BSN. My current schedule is very flexible with my classes being Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. I hope to be able to work with you and your family soon!
