I love working as a caregiver. I am from a small town in Kansas, and lived much of my early childhood helping to take care of my elderly family members, which lead me to healthcare after high school. After my great grandmothers had both passed from neurodegenerative disorders, I decided to take my education one step further and started working in mental health, where I learned about the effects of trauma on the brain and proper reactions to trauma.
