I have been an emergency technician for the past 26 years. I took care of a vast array of patients including many who were in critical condition. I recently left the ER to be the caretaker for a husband and wife. I am responsible for bathing, cooking, grocery shopping, medication distribution, and household cleaning. Its a joy being able to help keep them out of a nursing home. The wife has end stage COPD and the husband has Parkinsons. I am especially proud that because of my efforts they are still living at home. The relationship I have built with them has been well worth it too. The husband has even given me the nickname Christmas because he looks forward to seeing me every morning.

I'm very outgoing, I love to talk and make sure there's a smile on others faces, I love interacting and getting to know my clients. What attracted me to be a caregiver was I took care of my aunt while she had cancer and I love making sure they are okay and don't feel alone. I enjoying getting know them and learning what their needs are and making sure they know that they have somebody!

Hello my name is kelsey I have been doing health care for 8 years I love what I do and take passion into my work. I have continued to do this work because I have a great personality I love to help others to achieve there goals as in walking to the bathroom 15ft I love to see them have a smile on there face . I do care about the people I take care I believe they deserve the same respect I would like and to treat them as If o wanted my grandparents caregiver would want them treated with dignity and respect.

I truly believe I was put on this Earth to help people. I enjoy making people's days a little brighter and easier. Life is about lifting each other up and making the most out of each and every day. I am going to be going to Nursing school in the Fall and pursue my passion of becoming a LPN, so I can extend my care to my clients.

I have always had the desire to help individuals to live a more rewarding life. It is a wonderful feeling to take away someones pain/ worries/ problems. I have cared for and raised five children and worked caring for people in multiple settings for over 25 years. I am on my own again and have relocated to my hometown of Somerset to start fresh. I am anxious to reconnect with the area and love caring for individuals on a one on one basis. Having been an RN for many years, I would very much love to care for people in their homes and treat them as family. I would like to be the extra pair of arms we all need from time to time. Going to Doctor's visits, trips to the grocery store, light housekeeping, general household pickup, walks in the park, general companionship, etc. I love to sew and read. I have been a caregiver and a CNA for 27 years. I enjoy taking care of elderly people,I love to hear their stories when they were young .I think being a caregiver is a gift you have to have patience and compassion to help people and I find it very rewarding to help people and to see a smile on someone's face that you help.

I always wanted to get into nursing, however, I had to wait until my daughters both graduated from high school. Once my youngest got into college I was able to go to nursing school. I have worked with geriatrics as well as with prisoners and addiction. I have enjoyed all aspects of my nursing career thus far and I am looking forward to working with CareLinx.
