I am a natural nurturing person. I I decided at a very young age that I wanted to be a nurse or a doctor. I had a grandmother that suffered from Alzheimer's disease for 13 years. Majority of the time that she was sick I cared for her. I always knew I needed to get into the health field because I saw how important it is to have a support system. When you have someone in your family who can no longer take care of themselves it seems to have a ripple effect with everyone surrounding them. At some point we could no longer take care of my grandmother in the house so we had to hire a home health aide and in doing so I really grew to appreciate the nature of the job. You become an extended family member you grow great bonds with your clients or patients and their familes. I love being an aide.

I enjoy helping others, and I very much love senior citizens. I strive to be of assistance to anyone who is an elderly person. If I'm out in public, I try to move fast in the event a door needs held or assistance is needed. It's the right thing to do. I served 4 years in the military, and I also went to college for 2 different degrees. I've learned a great deal in the midst of medical expertise. I have also been trained in many different emergency services.

My name is Tiara I'm 25 years old, when I was 18 my grandmother fell ill and there was nobody that we felt could give her the around the clock skilled care she needed without going into a facility (which nobody would have allowed to happen) so I began caring for her myself, following under the direction hospice had given. I began turning her as needed aiding in her mobility so she wouldn't lose the use of her legs, hand over hand feeding her. Anything she needed I was there and I realized I didn't just like to help but instead it gave me a good feeling to know I was doing more then just assisting I was a companion. She was no longer"down in the dumps" it's a wonderful feeling. I'm a very honest easy going person, I've got a habit of always seeing the brighter side. I enjoy reading and cooking in my free time.
