Hello. I have been a caregiver for a long time. I have always had a compassionate personality and feel the need to help people. I feel like this makes me a great CNA.

I am currently in college all virtual I am working on my Associates in order to gain my bachelors in Phlebotomy. I am a mom of three little ones under 6 years old. I currently work for a home health company to caters to veterans. I love animals and children and I am a nice caring generous person.

Working through home health and dealing with a range of clients, I have learned how to manage and take care of certain clients. The main conditions in which people have been under that I have taken care of, was with paraplegics. Working with these people, I have learned how to communicate with them, do certain things to their liking, operate hoyer lifts, and help navigate through their everyday life ensuring they are the most comfortable and happy. I have worked worked with a select few as well that suffered from dementia and altzheimers. With the year I've worked for addus I have learned how to deal with certain conditions in which people face, such as the dementia and Alzheimer's. I have also learned how to work through task and problems that may come up with people suffering from these diseases. A good trait I would say for myself, is being able to remain calm, and professional in difficult situations. Another good trait is I'm a fast learner on learning how certain clitents like certain things to be done, and when they like it to be done. I'm good on getting on a routine schedule with clients. It makes it not only easier for me, but for them as well.

I love making people happy! I love to see others smile and laughter. It makes my heart happy! I've always loved to take care of others. I'm proud of seeing the past patients i have had be happy. And are always smiling when they see me!

I am a very warm caring person. I've cared for my husband who is a disabled veteran for 11 years. He was diagnosed with renal failure and had to do dialysis 3 days a week 4 hours a day. Unfortunately the care he received in center was not always good and that was taking a toll on his health so after 3 years of back and forth trying different dialysis centers I took a class so we can do home hemo and I did his treatment by myself for 6 years. My husband's face lit up when I told him I was going to get training so I can do his dialysis myself at home. I was sooo happy I was able to do it and wish I had thought of it sooner. Thankfully he received a kidney about a year and a half ago. But while caring for my husband at home I could help but think about the other patients I use to meet in the center when I took my husband for his treatment that would complain about their care. I felt bad that they were not happy with the care they were receiving. You have enough things to worry about and finding someone helpful , pleasant, great attitude and person who enjoys caring for your love one should be part of your stress. I understand how important GOOD care is for a persons health both mentally and physically. I say it first hand how my husband's health deteriorated when he was being miss treated and how he flourished when he was cared for properly. I got a lot of "Good job." When I was caring for my husband they said his health were better than ever even with him being a dialysis patient. I am very proud of that.

I have an outgoing personality. Love helping people. Former Army combat medic. I have worked in the field and hospital settings. I have cared for people that have COPD , Cancer and congestive heart disease. I can cook , assist in cleaning and provide some transportation if needed.

I have been a caregiver for over 20+ years working in both facilities and private homes. I take care of your family like they are my own. I am insured and have level 2 background check.

My name is Krista. I am a single mother to 2 wonderful little boys. They are my 2 reasons to strive to be a better person and they both have taught me so many things! I believe that I am a great fit for the caregiving position available, I have a lot of patients, I remain calm when something doesn't go as planned, and I take my job very seriously! What attracted me to being a caregiver is for sure not the money you make, or how much! I have never been the type to care more about the money, I care more about making the client feel comfortable, safe, and most of all enjoy life like they should, and putting a smile on their faces! That is the most important thing that means the most to me, and that is what I enjoy most out of being a Caregiver! It is about making our clients we care for happy, its not about the money!

I first started out through Addus Health Care in Marion, Illinois. At the time I did not know what I was really doing, it was just a starter job until I could find the job that I was truely looking for. Within the first couple of weeks that Addus Health Care, they were sending me to different clients homes, it took a little while for me to start feeling comfortable. The people who I got to come in contact with, and help with their daily living schedules; were so nice and so good to me; they were so loving, and it was the people who showed me so much love who made me want to show all my love back and they made me want to help them; but most of all through all the months and years that I had devoted my life with these people; it became where I just didn't want to share my love with them; I needed to show them because I need them as much as they need me. I love helping other people and getting to become a special part of their lives and families. I continued my education into CNA and CPR classes and have graduated, and am now State Certified through Tennessee.

I wanted to take care of people. I like helping people. I have helped a lot of people get well. I have helped people with their daily living. I have been a certified nursing assistant for 18 years. I'm nice caring and dependable.
