I am currently in college all virtual I am working on my Associates in order to gain my bachelors in Phlebotomy. I am a mom of three little ones under 6 years old. I currently work for a home health company to caters to veterans. I love animals and children and I am a nice caring generous person.

I am a very warm caring person. I've cared for my husband who is a disabled veteran for 11 years. He was diagnosed with renal failure and had to do dialysis 3 days a week 4 hours a day. Unfortunately the care he received in center was not always good and that was taking a toll on his health so after 3 years of back and forth trying different dialysis centers I took a class so we can do home hemo and I did his treatment by myself for 6 years. My husband's face lit up when I told him I was going to get training so I can do his dialysis myself at home. I was sooo happy I was able to do it and wish I had thought of it sooner. Thankfully he received a kidney about a year and a half ago. But while caring for my husband at home I could help but think about the other patients I use to meet in the center when I took my husband for his treatment that would complain about their care. I felt bad that they were not happy with the care they were receiving. You have enough things to worry about and finding someone helpful , pleasant, great attitude and person who enjoys caring for your love one should be part of your stress. I understand how important GOOD care is for a persons health both mentally and physically. I say it first hand how my husband's health deteriorated when he was being miss treated and how he flourished when he was cared for properly. I got a lot of "Good job." When I was caring for my husband they said his health were better than ever even with him being a dialysis patient. I am very proud of that.

They say if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life. I LOVE my field in which the job I do. I love helping/caring for people that cannot do for themselves. Growing up having a family full of healthcare providers I was almost summoned to the group but not against my will. Particularly, in home care is my favorite type of work.

I am 54 years old. I am a Christian. I was a CNA for 13 years working in various skilled settings such as long term care, rehabilitation care, hospice care and hospital care. I am a fun loving person who enjoys helping others. I have always loved helping others in need. My greatest achievement as a care provider is bringing a smile during difficult times. Love and compassion is the heart and soul of care giving. I enjoy private duty care, one on one home care assistance. I no longer hold a CNA license. I do provide non - medical care assistance based on my years of professional care giving experience in long term care and rehabilitation , hospice, home health care and hospital care. I am obtaining my recertification in CPR w/ A.E.D. (BLS certification)

I am a 41 year old Happy Mother of a sweet 20 year old Wonderful son. Most of my adult life ive just been a mother and all my choices were about my son, now is time for me. I love camping and living a simple life, and i love my animals. I have been a caregiver in one form or another most of my life because I love to help people. I have had several part time caregiver roles over the years and helped many families take care of there loved ones and i have good references if needed. I have also been a child care provider from my home and i love to help and take care of children as well. I have those references as well if needed. I am told i am a great caregiver because i am very compassionate, patient, loving and i treat everyone like family. I enjoy being a caregiver most when i help a person i am caring for reach a personal goal or when i am praised for going above and beyong. My proudest personal achievement is my son, seeing him be grown and making a life for himself and now getting to go on and make a new life for myself that's about doing what I want to do and what is best for me.

I have worked as a CNA-HHA for over 20 years, first through various agencies and then on my own as a private duty caregiver until I started my own home care agency. I worked well with mostly the elderly and Alzheimer and dementia patients. The benefits I receive from caregiving are numerous. I truly enjoy helping people and feeling needed and appreciated by them. I enjoy interacting with the families and working together to develop care plans and meet challenges associated with the job. One of the things I'm most proud of is being able to give the clients and their families peace of mind knowing that their loved ones are comfortable and well-cared for.
