We have a 4 year old German Shepherd named Axl, a kitten named Stevie, and a pit/lab mix puppy named Peach. I've been drawn to caregiving from a young age, since, when I was 8 years old, my mom was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. This instilled in me a passion for helping others with disabilities, and their families, who I know work so hard already. I have been her caregiver ever since, and have worked professionally in the field for the last couple years. I love the real human connection that comes with this profession. I feel that my sensitive nature and intuition helps me to understand a person's needs even when that person may be unable to communicate them.
