I am an excellent cook, housekeeper, I have a compassionate heart for people, I am dependable, and value and take pride in the job I commit myself to. In addition to my extensive work experience with at risk children and teens, when I was 17 years old, I had the opportunity to gain the experience to care for my grandfather after he had a stroke and again as an adult; I had to care for my mother after she had a stroke until her untimely passing. I have volunteered as a coach in the Jefferson Parish Parks and Recreation Department, was a Sunday school Teacher, volunteered with Habitat for Humanities, and with St. Jude Homeless shelter feeding the homeless. I am American Red Cross trained and certified in infant/child and adult CPR first aide and AED. I am knowledgeable of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Publisher.

Taking care of people puts a smile on my face. I'm a hard worker and I like to do it right. I love being a caregiver because it helps a lot of families who do not have the time to do so and it relieves a lot of stress from families to have someone watching their loved one. What attracted you to being a caregiver? I wanted to become a care giver because I love helping the elderly and i feel people don't do much for the elderly like they should or treat them the way they are suppose to be treated. plus love helping people if I can. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? I love helping them and keeping them in a safe positive mind set and not make them feel like they are left out that they are still here and loved as well as noticeable and not forgotten. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? My personal goals I'm proud of is living life to the fullest and continuing what I do and love the most which is a care giver. I'm a loving, helping kind hearted person and love my job. As long as my care giver family is taken care of to the best of my ability that's all that matters. What are your personality traits or expertise that help you be a great caregiver? My personality is what makes me I'm a out going person with a big heart full of gold, good at what i do and just all the round good and best at what i do.

What attracted me to start as a caregiver is being abale to help others with whatever need they may need, I enjoy every bit of it because I know one day I'll be needing the same help and would like to have someone as good and supportive as me. I am proud to say I am willing to go above and beyond for any of my patients as well as to meet there expectations.

Hello I'm Taylor Lira and I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for almost 5 years. I really enjoy being able to care for others when they are in time of need. It's my passion to walk into a home, facility, or a building and know you are there to help someone that is no longer able to care for themselves. It's a great feeling knowing they have someone that cares for them just as if there were your own family. It's the 5 years I have worked as a caregiver my proudest achievement has been gaining more than just a patient with the homes I have gone into. I have grown to love each patient as if they were my grandmother/grandfather.
