I am a very outgoing person. I love keeping people company and helping them in any way possible remaining happy! I have a big soft spot for elder people and love assisting them in any possible asspect! I AM FORTUNATE THAT MY FAMILY TAUGHT ME HOW TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR OTHERS IN THE FAMILY INCLUDING THOSE WITH TEMPORARY ILLNESS OR LONG TERM CARE. I HAVE ALWAYS TAKEN THE INITIATIVE IN EDUCATION AND EVEN THOUGH I AM NOT IN THE MEDICAL FIELD, CAREGIVING HAS BEEN MY ROLE WITH FAMILY. I AM RESPONSIBLE ENOUGH THAT I HAVE CONTINUED GOING TO COLLEGE AND HAVE A BACHELOR'S, MASTERS, AND MY SUPERINTENDENCY. I ALSO HAVE TAUGHT ADULT EDUCATION GED COURCES THROUGH LAREDO COLLEGE.

About me, I grow up taking care of my mom with cancer since I was 14 years old. What attracted to be a caregiver is that I want my patients to feel that there in good hand, I want them to see me as a family meme we not only as a caregiver. What do I enjoy being a caregiver that's easy, there stories and for them to have someone to talk to. What is a personal achievement I'm proud of is that I can still take care of patients how I did with my mother.

As a mother of 3 (2 biological and 1 step son) I've gained alot of patience over the years. I've learned how to take care and understand the needs of my children even when they can't tell me what they need. I've always enjoyed taking care of people since I was younger. At a young age I would take care of my brothers while my mom was at work. I grew a very close bond with my grandmother that was ill at the time. I would help bathe her feed her change her at the age of 12. And I loved it. How it made me feel. The smile on her face. God rest her soul. If I could I'd do it all over again. I've done alot in the little time I've been on this earth. I gave birth to 2 beautiful children. Their strong kind and healthy. I worked for the city briefly performing autopsys with Dr.Stern. I've been a manager at 3 different jobs in various fields. I feel I'm more than qualified for this job. And if you were to give me the chance I think ud come to agree with me.

The medical field is what led me to become a care giver. At first I really thought I was not going to like it. However, every day when I showed up at work I put a smile on my face and gave it my very best. My job in the emergency room was filled with traumatic experiences, blood, and death. But what made it worth it, was all that surrounded those horrible experiences. Being able to help someone live another day made me smile inside. And before I knew it, I found myself loving my job. When someone's life depends on you, you forget about the outside world and to me all that matters in that moment is my patient.

I am very caring, and patient, I always seek personal growth, and am committed to always doing my best in and job. I love helping others. My grandmother has dementia so I think it is everyone's job to take care of those who took care of us. Also I am physically and mentally strong, I am very compassionate and easy to talk to, I love being someone that people can count on. I consider happiness in my life a necessity so I always have a good attitude. I am proud of the man I have become and the obstacles I am crossed as they positively shaped my character and work ethic.

Since i was in the medical school a CNA position always popped up to me to be a great way to give back to the elderly. I then started working as one where i felt in-love in what i was doing just the thought of having to care for someone and know that you are there because you wanna help them in any need. and for them to know that someone is there for them is something so. heart warming. At the end of my every day shift i will feel accomplished to see my patients groom, bathe and well fed . in conclusion yes i consider myself as a good care giver .

I have been a cna for over 10 yrs and have experience in hospital setting i loved taking care of my patients and helping them in all there needs ive always loved helping people so i decided to study in the medical field therefor i am currently going to college for my nursing license
