Hello My name is Martha i live in Sacramento CA for about 36years moved to Davis CA to attend a better school.In my senior year i volunteered to work at this facilty working with the elderly AND I TRULY ENJOYED IT from that day in 95' i knew what i wanted to do.I started medical school in 97' but...found out i was pregnant i had put to put my dreams on hold.In 99' i started working at State Franchise Tax Board for 3yrs then my day my Co-worker asked'hey do you really enjoy working here i stated NO but i need to provide for my family from that day on i told myself 'do something you like to do! I can say i separted myself and found a job working with the elderly in 04' from then just worked as a caregiver for YEARS my daughter a teenager now so i decided to go back school and get my RN license and here i am! Thank God!

(Pay is negotiable depending on care level needed) I'm a caring person naturally and I love to help others. This is partly what makes me a great caregiver. I have been caregiving for over 20 years and I find it very rewarding. I believe it is incredibly important work and treat it as such. I am also a CA Certified Massage Therapist and have been for approximately 10 years. I have a passion for the healing arts and am always learning more about healthcare in general. I'm very patient and kind. I'm honest and trustworthy. I'm observant, focused and detail oriented. I have an excellent work ethic and am punctual and responsible. I try to anticipate the needs of the person I care for and communicate clearly with family members to update them on daily activities. I like to clean and organize. I've been trained sanitation practices, nutrition, human anatomy, physiology and pathology. I'm physically strong and practise good body mechanics. I have many caregiving skills and have been around patients with a variety of needs. My greatest achievement, that I am grateful for, was the short time I was able to give care to my father in his last stage of life.
