I became a caregiver several years ago because I'm a compassionate, caring individual who is a people person. I like the ideal of assisting others with whatever I can assist them with due to their inability to care for themselves. A personal achievement I am proud of is receiving my Master's in Education while caring for an elderly couple for twelve years assuring them that I would be there with them until death, without any absentee or sickness and I accomplished that. I am a well educated, intelligent person who is a neutral minded individual that does not force an opinion of mines on anyone. I am a single mother of two young people who guided them to live their life to the fullest and at the instinctive. My desire is to become a teacher then work in administration for education to better the lives of our young children while continue to share my compassion and love to assist the elderly through for rest of their assistance. My patience and confidence to work diligently with children and elderly are a God given task of service.

I became a caregiver because of my mother's influence. Listening to her talk about her clients was interesting and heart warming and sometimes I felt sad and wanted to help, so I did! The rewards of being a caregiver is caring for those who cannot care for themselves or just needing a little help. Always understanding what care consists of at all times regardless of the situations and circumstances whether it's to assist or just HELP.
