What makes me a great caregiver is the fact that I am considerate, and care about other peoples feelings before my own. I am enthusiastic, seeing a client who is working their way back to recovery I get excited helping that person in their rehabilitative process. Last but not least I am a hard worker mixed with spiritual person. This is especially essential as a caregiver, because you never get tired of doing God's work. I became a caregiver initially to follow in my mothers footsteps, and then it became rewarding to do something so selfless in terms of helping others. What i like about being a caregiver is you start to realize it is more than a job. The care that some persons are receiving is so appreciated that they are happy to see you because they are in good hands. A personal achievement I am proud of is working one on one with a client who had a stroke. I took her to and from therapy sites, worked dilligently on range of motion exercises, and the next year her and her husband walked to the dance floor at my wedding. Tears of Joy was more than me getting married , but to see my client walking.Just to know our teamwork did that felt wonderful.
