I became a caregiver to many elderly patients to give the attention, love, and time devoted to them. Most of the time they are left alone and forgotten about and they would like to feel as if they matter to someone. I feel that they have a lot to offer as far as wisdom and knowledge. my personal achievements that im proud of would have to be the day that I graduated from nursing school for LPN. My next achievement would be to take and pass the state boards. I hate to see the elderly being misused and mistreated and ignored, thats one of the reasons I got into this field, to show the elderly that they matter and that they are not forgotten.
