Hi my name is Kimberly but most just call me Kimi. Thank you for viewing my profile n for considering me for your loved ones care team. I am 47 and I lived and grew up in Idaho the majority of my life. I became a certified nurses aide in my mid 20s. Since then I've worked in hospitals, nursing homes; long term and sub-acute wards(where I often worked with physical and occupational therapy), assisted living, private home care, behavioral care, memory care (alzheimer), and hospice. Over the years I've cared for people suffering and recovering from many different conditions, and while learning how to adjusting to life after a hip or knee replacements, back surgery, heart attack, stroke, dementia, diabetes, partial paralysis, cancer, end of life, and/or simply old age. Since moving to California in '13, I've done some private home care which I truly enjoy. I really love helping others. I enjoy the one on one interaction and getting to know each person. I promote maintaining independence and encouage working to regain as much as possible. I strive to provide the best care I can with compassion, understanding, encouragment, and empathy.
