Every clinit I work for, wants me to come back. I work with 3 companys and I believe in treating my clinits like I want people to treated my mother. I care for my mother from time to time as well.

Hello, my name is Heather I have been doing homecare for 16 years working both privately and through agencies. I became a caregiver for those that need help staying as independent and comfortable as possible in there own home without having to go into a nursing home or other facility. During my years of being a caregiver you never know what your day to day task will be. You take one day at a time and go with it. I love helping people especially when you get a response without you I don't know where I would be. Not everyone who represents themselves as caregivers are actually a caregiver there are in it for the money which is awful to say but is very true. It takes a compassionate person to be a caregiver, you are leaving the life of your loved ones in there hands. During my 16 years of caregiving, I went back to school and became a certified nursing assistant in which Ive been for 14 years. I'm certified in both Illinois and Indiana. I have a clean background up to date cpr card. I not only have experience with home care, but also have nursing home, rehab, assisted living, hospice and hospital experience.
