Tommy was a middle aged man, and I was his at home personal attendant. I was hired with a local organization and did complete their course for certification. This was a one day course for care of a special needs adult. I also transported Tommy to shopping centers, helped him at home with light housekeeping, meal prep with cleanup, and at home companionship. I moved to Florida and, therefore, ended my care for him. Tommy lived on O'Reilly St. in Jenny Lind, very close to my residence. I also was a 'nanny' for a family as the wife/mother was pregnant with their third child, and she needed light housekeeping and childcare several days per week.

Full time interaction with customers at the register, HIPPA CERTIFIED, computer input and information retrieval, prescription sales, and telephone sales. Answering medical inquiries allowable via HIPPA laws was a daily task. I also supported technicians and have experience with filling prescriptions. Closing and opening procedures occurred daily during my thirteen years of employment. I enjoyed the interactions with our customers, most of whom where seniors.

Hired for the above position, after the Southbay Christian School in the Silicon Valley experienced a loss of fifty percent of students when the computer industry had a stockpile of electronics in 2002. I had worked as a fifth grade teacher for two years, after relocating from Hawaii (1974-1999). TTY relay operations required 60 wpm on keyboarding and an English spelling test upon entry level admission. I successfully relayed active phone communications for the deaf and/or hard of hearing clients. Carpal tunnel syndrome required me to end my employment and participate in physical therapy to alleviate the named condition. Success was determined on no longer keyboarding. I entered a college program and received A's in three courses to extend my education for childcare. I did receive the additional Preschool and Nursery Teacher Assistant certification, and worked in the local head start program for one semester. Learning I was moving to Florida to have a residence built in Citrus Springs, I worked for the Jewelry Dept in the Walmart in Jackson California. I was able then to transfer to the Walmart in Ocala Florida, and worked until my recent retirement in 2018. Currently, I am wanting to work part time in the home care as a personal caregiver, or a mother's helper, or personal assistant.
