My grandmother took care of me all of my childhood life and when she was ailing, I stepped in by caring for her during my late college years: toileting, dressing, oral care, pericare, and other ADLs. After she passed, I figured that I have a passion about caring for people. Now, I'm a CNA at an Assisted Living facility caring for almost 15 residents, providing ADLs, light housekeeping, and much more. I love how I make a difference in every residents' lives, keeping them happy, positive, and healthy. They tell me everyday about my passion and I try to be humble about it. Because of what I do made me a better person in my personal like with my family. I place others first and foremost before myself. It's becoming habitual and I love it. I am a married mother of 3 children who obtained a Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences and a Certification in Nursing Assistant Studies. I wish to further pursue my education in Nursing once I have the time between work and my personal life.
