My mom told me when I was a child, I climbed into the lap of another child in a wheel chair and shared my ice cream with him! He had Down syndrome and no one played with him; I was only 3 or 4! I've always had a caring heart, genuinely! I care for the elder population because there is a lack thereof! Wisdom, the fact that life is blissful and no filter is what drives me to care for my elder patients! They help me to be the best me without a care because although we could be old in years, life waits for no one! So I appreciate the small things like a smile and a thank you! They go such a long way with me! I am a certified nursing assistant and medical assistant, so I have worked with doctors and nurses to achieve satisfactory patient care! My goal is to become a nurse and run an adult day care, for those families looking for alternate care instead of a nursing home! I am proud of who I am becoming!
