I have worked in the south Chicago suburbs as a caregiver for seniors and children for several families. I started my career in 1997. All of my jobs were long term. I love working as a caregiver and have much experience in this area. Providing care for seniors for many years, I have developed a strong desire to continue working in this field. You will find me to be very caring and thoughtful to clients’ needs. A kind word, compassion and understanding to the one who is in need are my priorities. My natural and learned skills to recognize unique qualities in people have helped me to develop a special connection with each person. Also, my training at Lincoln College as a medical coder has contributed to my knowledge of medical conditions and disease symptoms. This has greatly helped me to recognize if there are changes in someone’s health and bringing it to their attention. In my previous positions, I have worked with people who were physically or psychologically challenged. With their doctor’s guidance, I have helped to strengthen them physically with exercises designed for each specific need. Emotional and psychological problems would be addressed by understanding the situation, symptoms and knowledge of human psychology. Besides my professional skills, I have more to offer. I am cheerful, active and creative. I like structure and consistency. I am always eager to help and able to go the extra mile.
