What makes me a great caregiver is because I have experience in home care. I have a 93 year old grandmother who has dementia. I had been working with her for he last 5 years prior to moving to GA. I believe the best way to be a successfulcaregiver to always treat the individual the way you wnat to be treated. Ialso believe my purpose in life is to help people out and I just gravitate to my elders more than anything. With my grandmother having dementia her short term memory was what she didnt remember, she has no problem remembering things years back its just the now that defeats her. I kow how to distribute medication, help in and out of the tub,clean bed, bath, and kithen.
