I have been a caregiver since 2009. I have a great passion for taking care of others and have spent most of my working career doing so. I have extensive experience in almost every area providing care for this population. I have worked with a variety of Alzheimer's and dementia clients as well as Parkinson's, MS, Diabetes, severe respiratory issues, Huntington's disease , cancer and those on hospice all which include many different special needs. I have a degree in Psychology from CSUS that I earned in 1983. If there's something new I'm not familiar with, I'm more than willing to learn. I love to cook and most likely can make almost anything up on request. I'm always willing to do house cleaning and laundry. I take pride in my work and always go above and beyond what is expected of me. I enjoy conversing with those I provide care for, they always have such interesting memories and history. My mission is to always treat my clients with the compassion, respect and dignity they deserve. I also work at the San Juan Unified School District with Autistic preschool children which requires much energy, patience and understanding. I am also fully vaccinated. Hi my name is Lily and I'm originally from the beautiful Island of Fiji . I have about twenty years of care giving experience. Coming from a very traditional, Christian and communal way of living, we have always taken care of our elders. In most Fijian homes, there isnt much of a nuclear family because families live together to help care for our elders who can no longer take care of themselves. I guess this is why most of us gravitate towards working as Caregivers because it only comes natural to us. Most of the work I've done over the years have been from personal references and "word by mouth". I'm a skillful, honest, patient and passionate worker I have great references.
