About Minerva

I come from a large family. My mom and dad taught me the values of integrity and paying it forward. I have been a home companion for over 9 years and have experience with Alzheimers and Hospice. I value the dignity of serving those in physical constraints. I value the compassion of providing humane treatement to my fellow being. My first experience at caretaking was with my grandmother. I was 19 and I learned valuable lessons about the need for open dialogue for a person enduring medical issues that can at times incapacitate. My personal achievement includes providing care to my mother for 9 years. She passed with dignity. I was able to keep my mom mobile until the last two weeks of her life via music, exercise, and conversation. She had Alzheimers.
