I became a caregiver when one of my close friends had a child with cerebral palsy and she did know the steps to get help I told here she go the help and ask me to be there because I was there already helping and she did trust anyone else. I have a caring spirit already I love helping and see people smile. Being in americorps *NCCC , its a non for profit government program and they deploy teams of 5 or more to the state in there region and we work for non for profit program. My favorite time was when I was in new Orleans and I was the shelter manager for all the volunteers that came from all over to help rebuild. Helping in in my blood I was born to help and serve others and I love what I do everyday.
