I have been working in the medical field for over twenty years and throughout those years its been a lot of hard work but I have grown to love the feeling I get when I truly am able to help make someone's day better. There are so many families out there in the world that really do want to help their aging loved ones they just don't have the medical knowledge or time to give their loved ones the one on one time they require. I'm trained to handle just about anything and I would love to help a family feel they have really made a difference in getting the right caregiver for their loved one. I want to help a family bring some joy in living back into the life of someone they truly do care about. I don't mind shopping, cleaning, cooking, doing laundry, providing transportation to and from doctors appointments, administering medications, etc. if you need good quality care I will not let you down.

I worked at Rush hospital for 13 years, left in 1997 to run a geriatric medical practice "Gericare" in Park Ridge, IL. after ten years the hour plus each way commute just became too much for me so I relocated last year to Maya Medical. I have a passion to work with people, I love the feeling one gets when they know they have truly helped make another human beings day just a little brighter. I love to communicate and help people with their medical, emotional, financial and transportation needs. It seems as though the medical field has become too political in this day and age and employees don't have the time to really get to know the patients and their families because everything is based upon the potential profit that can be made from each patient. I understand it's 2018 and everyone needs to make the most money they can to support their families but I'm at a point in my life that I actually want to HELP people feel better, get a little more out of life, have a sense a worth or simply just make some new friends and help lighten the burden to families that are forced to leave their elderly or minor loved ones with caregivers they don't feel they can trust. I'm CPR certified, extremely knowledgeable in the medical field, a good safe driver and a trustworthy overall nice person.

I am proud of being a caregiver because I know I make a difference in the lives of my Residents and I am grateful that most of my Residents that I have taken cared of, including their families, trusted me to be part of the last journey of their lives. My nationality is Filipino and we are known to be the best in caregiving, especially to the elderly.
