Being a massage therapist has exposed me to many opportunities to not only physically assist clients towards general wellbeing but also develop a bond with each individual based on their needs. I have experience with geriatric massage as well as working in an hospice setting. Assisting clients with self care and improving their quality of life no matter what their condition is has become a passion of mine aside from handcrafting natural products such as teas, herbal honey and detox baths. I've gained experience through my work as a massage therapist as well as assisting my own family in which my father has arthritis and stage 4 prostate cancer and my mother who suffered a stroke and has a bone fusing condition. I am able to clean homes, prepare meals, provide foot treatments such as nail trimming and conditioning (most elderly or disabled clients have trouble reaching their feet to do these things themselves). I can also provide my time as a companion if client simply just would like someone to talk to, help organize home, help with small projects or share hobbies. I have my own vehicle and license and insurance so I am able to take client on errands and appointments or to simply get some fresh air. I aim to create overall wellness for the mind, body and spirit through healthy eating, exercise, time out in the sun and mindful meditation.
