Hello I Been a Cna for17yrs and i enjoy been a cna i give quality care with love and compassion and treat each person like they are my only relative it does matter how they act i still get the job done i am willing to take the extra mile to ensure their safe and the happiness is very important to me would change what i do because i love doing it

I am currently 33 years old, mother of two. I have been a home care aid (6 years) and personal assistant (2yrs) The reason I became a caregiver was due to the fact when I was 7mths pregnant with my oldest child; my mother had a stroke that effect her short &long term memory and was in much needed help at home with her daily need due to the fact my mother has difficulty remembering certain things like she did years ago; I felt she needed someone to help her on the things she might need on her day to day routines but since she didn't like stranger in the home I became a caregiver to show her caregiver aren't just stranger they can become part of your family as well. I am very familiar with all house cleaning, washing clothes, assisting with elderly needs, washing dishes, organizing furniture, running errands, cooking (basics), assist with bathing. I currently have desired work schedule of which would consist of Tuesday&Wednesday, 9-2pm Saturday (open) Sunday 8am-5 p.m. I am mostly flexible with any job description except for transportation which at the moment I don't own a vehicle.
