I became a caregiver because my mother got sick and needed someone to help her through out the day. I like the fact that I can help people continue to live in the comfort of their home and doing things they would normally do. One of my personal achievements that I am proud of is motivating my mother not to give up on life. my mother never needed help taking care of herself and when she got sick she just didn't wanna go on anymore, but me being there let her know that she wasn't alone.
