My name is Regina Haymon and I've been a caregiver all my life. I always knew I wanted to be in the Nursing field when I had the chance to take care of my late great grandmother Elizabeth, until her passing in 2005. Since then I've been continuing my education (up until 2017) and working as a CNA for different facilities and most recently for a company that services clients as well. I enjoy them both, however I'm experiencing the pleasure of working "in home" as you get to connect and grow a real relationship with your client. I think it's really important that they trust you and you get to learn your client as much as possible to get them the best care and companion. If I'm not at a clients home, I'm probably with my grandmother(s) working for free. For some reason, Seasoned people love me, maybe because I'm still so young and full of life, but mature enough to take control.

I have been working with the elderly for over 20 years. With time comes experience and the understanding of how much care and compassion the elderly needs on the regular basis. I have worked with nearly all forms of disabilities that some elderly people goes through. From mental disorders, such as dementia clients to physical disorders, such as Huntington disease clients. I don't want anybody in this world to suffer but in particular, to me, the elderly are the ones who needs the most care, companionship, and assistance for the rest of their lives. I find joy and comfort in knowing that I can help senior citizens in anyway I can. I love being an aide for senior citizens. My work and dedication show's it.
I've been in the medical field as a cna for over 22 years I've worked with the elderly, young adults and children with special needs and I love what I do. I'm a very detailed person and focus on the job at hand but also I pay attention to detail , like organizing your home to fit your needs so to limit accidents, I'm very compassionate, and believe in giving my clients the best care possible,

I had the pleasure of taking care of Mr. Willie at the age of 99 years old. He was blind, therefore, he looked forward to my visits. He would prepare his breakfast and fed him, give him a bed bath, exercise his arms and legs (he was bed ridden), wash his clothes and bed linen, read to him and later hold a conversation pertaining to the article(s) I read. I had to clean his room, walk him to various part of his apartment. (place his hand on my shoulder and lead him around). Make sure he would drink plenty of water, and give him, his medication on a daily basis.
