As a home health provider I try to work closely with a client as well as their family to ensure all the needs are met so they can live safely at home . I meet the physical needs as well as the emotional needs for I feel that is equally important. When I work with a patient I treat them as if they were my own mother grandmother, father or family member and I realize that this is a difficult time in their life and nobody ever imagined getting to a point in their life where they would be unable to take care of themselves and the thought of going to a nursing home or facility is even more frightful so I am patient and caring and trustworthy so that they can stay at home where they're more comfortable I feel as though they are still in charge of their life

I am proud of being a caregiver because I know I make a difference in the lives of my Residents and I am grateful that most of my Residents that I have taken cared of, including their families, trusted me to be part of the last journey of their lives. My nationality is Filipino and we are known to be the best in caregiving, especially to the elderly.
