I became very passionate to become a caregiver when my mother got a diagnosis of a rare neurological disorder effecting her coordination of her whole muscular structure. I was her main in-home caregiver. I helped with speech, physical, and occupational therapy. My mother used to be a physical therapist and worked for all ages including seniors, so a lot of my experience is coming from her teachings, and what she battled with in her later years. I am proud of the ability to adapt and over come the difficulties my mom faced with the paraneoplastic cerebellar degeneration and anti yo diagnosis.
