Hi, My name is Sanita Williams and I became a caregiver because caring for people is what I wanted to do. At first no, I didn't care to do this kind of work but God directed me in this field in year 2000. I began working in this field in the year of 2000 and realized I enjoyed it. It was a challenge for me at first, but I learned everything I needed to learn; and there was a lot to learn. I even decided to go to school to be a nurse; financial problems, so I couldn't finish. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is making people feel better and making them smile. I enjoy comforting others and making them happy. I want patients to know that I am here for them. My personal achievement is making it this far and knowing the things that I've learned about caring for others. I've achieved excellent experience and knowledge for caring for people. I've learned from nursing, other nursing assistants, doctors, even patient's family members. I am a mom of 2 boys, ages 24 and 18. I am from Mississippi and I've lived in the Dallas area since 1995. I can be a quiet person until I get to know someone, I enjoy cooking, reading and watching tv shows that makes me laugh. Although I am no longer in school, still, I read over different material from my school books, its like a continual education for me. Most of all, which should have been come first, I enjoy reading the bible and studying the information. I try to focus on what is important in life.
