I love being in the company of an elderly person and helping them with their activities of daily living. Being a caregiver gives me a sense of hope and makes me feel worthy. It is very flexible job for me because I am a student and like working at my own pace and in a job I love. I have learnt so much from the people I take care of and one of my greatest achievements is going back to school to further my education and chosen career. I am 24 years old and a student of Oakton community college. I come from Ghana west Africa and am very hardworking, have a sense of humour patient and very caring. It doesn't matter how difficult a patient is, I always get him/her to cooperate with me.
