Hi, my name is Mikia I have been in the caregiving field 3 years. I enjoy getting to know and listen to the ones I am providing services to. What attracted me to being a caregiver was when I was ten years old , having to assist my grandmother who leg was amputated. I enjoyed helping at a young age toileting, assisting her with grooming and hygiene. Since that moment I realized that this was something that I had a passion for even in my adult age. I love seeing the smiles knowing that I was able to make that persons day, allowing them to experience good care from a positive minded , caring person. I'm proud of what I do and I would like to make my residents proud knowing that they have a caregiver that they can trust
