I enjoy being a caregiver because you get to connect with your client. I enjoy working closely with my clients and making them happy. It make me proud knowing I am doing my job well. I became attracted to being a caregiver because visiting nursing homes I would feel sad that very few families would come visit their family members. I then realized the caregivers/aides are who work closely with the clients. We are their best friends and family. I feel happy knowing I'm the reason one of my clients are smiling. I love my job.
