I became a caregiver in 2011. A very dear friend of mine was disabled, he just lost his wife of thirty years. He was very depresssed and in need of assistance. He offered me a position as a PA working through a company Doors. I accepted the position. When I started my job i noticed a big difference in him. That made me feel good that I could go into someones home and make a difference. He was happy his house was clean, he had a hot meal everyday, and most of all that he could depend on me seven days a week. At first he felt he lost his life, I made his life liveable again and to me that was a great success. It makes me feel good to be able to make a difference in someones life.
