I've been in the health care industry for 6 years, I started out as a CNA working in a nursing home. I hated the site of seeing so many left behind and forgotten about. Many were bored and even stated that they would rather die than be there. Being new this devastated me. My goal everyday was to make them feel loved and to give them something to look forward to, help them smile laugh and have fun and change their outlook on life. I like home care because you really get to know your client on a one on one basis, you become that joy a lot of times and their best friend while helping them personally. I adore my clients God sent me to do home care.
