Hi! My name is Malawi, I am 20 years old and I have been a certified caregiver for 5 years, I've had 2+ year clients that still reach out to me if they need anything. I am reliable in all aspects, I am respectful, and I love to help and encourage people. I love to laugh, I'm very kind and calm, and organized. I took French for 6 years. I love musical theatre and movies. I was first encouraged to become a caregiver from always loving the feeling of helping my grandparents and being someone they know they can rely on. I became a babysitter when I was 13 and I babysat 3 different families for 2+ years. In March 2016, I became a caregiver for a family friend named Sandra, I stayed with her during chemo therapy appointments, help her heal wounds, exercise, talk and laugh, I recorded her blood sugar daily, e-mailed doctors for her, helped her with mail and any business she needed done such as paying bills, filled her pill box weekly - and I still communicate with her to this day. I love being a caregiver because it reminds me that I am a genuine person and I care about others as much as myself esp. in this career. I love to talk or just simply help. I am always alert and ready to prevent bad situations because I have experience with helping someone with a broken foot and diabetes as well. I am proud of always solving problems for my clients and keeping them comfortable and happy.
