I left the mortgage instrusty when my Mom was diagnosed with cancer. I quit my job to help care for her. It was life changing. She was my best friend and I can understand where families are coming from looking for the most trustworthy and compassionate person that they could find. It's not easy. I don't know why some people are in this field, when they don't have the qualities that it takes to be a caregiver.. the patience, the understanding, the empathy, the hard work, the love, the compassion and kindness are only a few of the skills that these caregivers need to be a special caregiver. After my Mom passed, I helped care for my Dad for years while I worked at an Assisted Living Center. I drove out to his home almost daily to help with his house cleaning, preparation of meals, laundry, caring for his pets, taking him to Dr. appointments and doing his groceries and Medication management. After he passed, this became my life. Yes, I worked at all these kinds of places, but I was meant to work independently with families. I have the of heart that you are looking for. I have taken the CNA course, but I let my license expire, I have taken the EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) course and passed the final with a score of 97% , but I didn't pursue that route. I started college courses to pursue Nursing. I have taken Anatomy & Physiology with a cadaver I, Biomedical Terminology, Psychology I and II and some General prerequisites. I have the passion that has helped me start my own caregiving business in Illinois where I have a team of caregivers. I recently moved to AZ and I have decided to eventually expand out here.

I recently moved to AZ and I continue md aging my business in IL here. It basically takes care of itself, I have over 20 employees and I eventually plan to exisnd our here in IL. I maintain the relationshipships with both my patient and their families. I provide assistance wherever needed.. bathing, grooming, getting dressed, preparing meals, light house cleaning, transportation to appointments, running errands, helping with medication management, pet care, house duties and companionship. I have worked with numerous families either on part time basis or a full time basis. I am very flexible with my schedule. I love what I do. I loved this job and I learned so much from it. I only left because management changed.. they asked me to lie to families and I was told that I had too much compassion for the patients & the families. I was the face of RCC. I did my best to keep our census up and making our patients happy. I worked directly with Doctors, Nurses, Social workers, pharmacists and families. I marketed at Assisted Living Centers, numerous hospitals, independent living centers, park districts and senior centers. I made a lot of friends. I hosted events, luncheons, and parties to network with our colleagues and competition.

In charge of administering all medications to our residents. I worked in the nurses office and I was often asked to monitor vitals on all patients, help with pharmacies and monitor patients and report any changes. I was often left in charge while nurse on duty was gone for the day. Rules changed since I was employed here, but I loved it. I made many lifelong friends with the residents here.

My daughter and son-in-law in Peoria have one daughter and are currently expecting their second child. Prior to moving here, my most recent pertinent work experience was as a homecare non-medical provider to an senior woman in her Kansas home. Though hired as "non-medical care provider" much of my assistance with this woman did revolve around her medical needs as she was an end-stage cancer patient, as well as diabetic. I helped manage her medication schedule, transportation and ensuring she went to medical/doctor appointments. I also monitored her daily health needs such as blood pressure, blood sugars, etc. I would like to care for you or a loved one in your home, and assist you with some of your care needs. I am willing to assist with light housekeeping, meal preparations, exercise/physical therapy programs, transportation and occasional errands or grocery shopping.
