What makes me a great caregiver is that I love what I do I plan on continuing my education in becoming a medical assistant and registered nurse helping people is what I live to do I have a big heart and healthcare is my passion the reason I chose to be a care giver is because when I was in the 7th grade my grandmother more like a mother to me he got really sick and no one knew what was wrong until we took her to northwestern hospital down town and found out she had stage 4 cancer I was heart broken so she asked if she could be put in hospice but in be comfort of her own home I stayed by my granny side until her last day I took care of her in every way and this actually motivated me to take care of other people and treat them as if they were my family and just what type of care giver I am the personal achievement in proud of is that I'm still going through with my plan of being a nurse and furthering my career

    1. I became a caregiver because when I was 15 years old I was in a bad car accident. I was like a 15 year old newborn and I couldn't do anything myself for about 3 months. The care that I got in the hospital and in my home was incredible and made the experience tolerable. 2. The thing I love the most about being a caregiver is watching my patients excel more than they did the day before. When I see a patient sit up on their own and they couldn't do it the day before I get the biggest smile and it makes my day. 3. I am proud of the fact that I might not have been to walk again and I pushed myself to be able to walk, run, and almost go back to how I was before my car accident. And the fact that the car accident opened my eyes and directed me into the Nursing field. 4. I am a very compassionate person and I have a lot of passion in this field. I want to help as many people and make their day just a little bit better if I can. I have been working at a doctors office for the past month and although it is easy work, I do not feel like that job is for me. I want to be able to make a difference in someones' life like the nurses did for me. I want to be able to work with someone one-on-one so I can be the best CNA that I can be.
