Being a caregivers is my passion. I've been a caregiver most of my life. I care and love people to be well cared for. Such as hygiene, health, hair care and how my clients might feel about things. Neve wanting them to feel left out or l only at any point! Most of all feeling safe and secure. I won't leave my clients family feeling unsecured I'll be their for you when I'm due to arrive ten minutes early or on time. Just know that you can count on me.
I enjoy working with seniors because I find them to be wonderful! Everyone has a unique story and I love hearing about your life and family. No matter how much help you may need, I will humbly be there to serve you. I treat people with dignity and respect at all times. I have cared for a child with a chronic illness of my own, which gave me the chance to learn the tasks of regular daily caregiving. Five years ago I retired from my first career. I have moved into a second career as an experienced certified caregiver!
After years of caregiving in the home including taking care of my mom who had gone through all the stages of Alzheimer's I learned about compassion, patience, love, and understanding. The greatest thing you can do in life is to care for someone. I enjoy doing crafts, being with people and traveling. I also do walks for charities. I am looking for part time work durning the day.
I am a very patient caregiver that has all types of experience with dealing with the elderly and individual with disabilities. I believe it's important for the client and caregiver to bond and trust each other. Its the caregivers job to make sure that the client is very well taken care of in every way possible. I am friendly, responsible and very caring. I have been in the caregiver industry since 2005.
My number one priority is to make sure my clients are safe and I listen to and act on their needs. I am a caring and enthusiastic person who shows up on time and completes task. I stepped up to take care of my grandmother when she needed help after I got of my retail job .My family encouraged me to make this my career full time and I have enjoyed it ever since.
As my parents were aging, they fortunately lived close enough to me that I was able to care for them. They are no longer here, but I never forgot the comfort and satisfaction I felt in being there for them. In 1994 I became a mom, and was able to stay at home with my son and subsequently his 2 brothers until they were nearly grown. What a challenge , yet what a learning experience! While rearing them I did part time work, mainly childcare as well as senior care. My parents' generation is filled with such incredible grace, strength, and just listening to the war stories always amazes me. I am proud to be the daughter of a WWII vet, and have thoroughly enjoyed caring for such an incredible generation of beautiful men and women. I definitely can cook, clean, etc, it is in my blood. My youngest is now 18, and it is time to give back to the generation which has done SO much for us. Thank you!!!
