I have been a caregiver for about 10-13 years. I am compassionate and dependable person. I have always had apathy towards my clients. Allowing them to retain their dignity and giving them respect. I became a caregiver because I enjoy taking care of the elderly. I enjoy during work that makes a difference in someone life. What i have enjoy the most about being a caregiver is assisting the elderly in making their day as less stressful as possible. Rather that be shopping, transportation, housekeeping, observation care, or assistance care for daily living. Being a caregiver comes with its ups and down . And when you have a moment when a client shows appreciation because you did something for them that was difficult and they are normal mean towards you. Thats a personal achievement for me.
