I became a caregiver because i love to help other's. Being around others and helping them with their daily living, and talking to them making them laugh making them feel safe is what i love to do. Every patients is different and unique in their own way just like us caregivers so you have to talk with them get to know them as a person. I worked with a lot of people with dementia and sometimes it can be a little hard because some of them make forget who you are and constantly asking you your name. I just want them to trust me and feel safe with me.
