What makes me a great caregiver is that I genuinely care about people and that people that I provide care for. I genuinely care about helping others who may not be able to help themselves how they want. I have been a personal assistant/caregiver at the Illinois department of Human Services since August of 2015. And I have grown to not like but love it. Being able to assist someone with things that aren't able to do or may need a little help doing makes me feel great, kinda like a hero in some way or another.
