Born with a servants heart and raised to be a leader. My entire life I've had the heart for all of those around me and wanting to be able to affect their lives in a positive way. I enjoy knowing that on good and bad days that I'm able to provide ways to improve or help somones day go easier and better. I've always been a hard worker and forever willing to learn new things.

I spent 11 years in the military in which I was honorably discharged at the end of 2012. I completed and received an associate degree in art while serving. I continued my education while being unemployed from the time I was released from the military until April of 2013 and earned a bachelor degree in psychology. A week later I began practical nursing school and graduated top of my class a year later and was rewarded the leadership award. I passed my state board and earned my Practical Nursing license with an IV certification. I have since worked as an admission nurse, hospice nurse, agency nurse, floor nurse, managed a long term care facility, and was a day shift manager as well as a day shift unit supervisor. I recently completed my associate's degree in science in nursing and am waiting to sit for boards for my registered nursing license. I am looking to slowly transition from the facility setting into private duty helping people in their home setting.

As a caregiver I would seek to give your friend or loved one the best care in my ability, help them out with the daily tasks needed, and provide loving companionship to bring as much joy to their day as I can. I am a compassionate, empathetic, hardworking mom of 5 kids, two of which are grown and gone. This past year I helped care for my dad, who had a stroke, and I would consider it an honor to help care for your friend or loved one. I have been working in an RCF that houses Mental Health clients. I absolutely love my job but seeking more daytime hours. I am licensed as a MA-1, to give insulin, and in First Aid and CPR.
