I enjoy working with people and the most enjoying part about my job is being able to have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoy taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in any way I can. I have been working as a caregiver since 2009 until 2022 helping family members and family friends mostly. I enjoy watching them smile when I walk into their door and knowing I can make a difference in other peoples lives make me love my job more and more each day. If I can't make them smile my entire day is messed up. And the most important part is loving them as if they were my own family members. I treat people as if I would want someone to treat my own. And that's with nothing but love and opening arms. And when that happens I know for a fact my job is done!!!!

I have been a live-in caregiver since 2012. I started working in a nursing home when I was 17 years old, and in 2012 I wanted to do more for the elderly, so I became a live- in caregiver so my clients could be in the comfort of their own home. Friendship and becoming a part of their family. Keeping my clients safe, and building a personal bond with them.

I am a mother of 3 children (& multiple God children) and a grandma of 6 (as well as multiple God Grandkids!) I always have a house full of kids! I worked in the healthcare field for years. I love working with children as well as elderly and disabled people. I have worked in Nursing homes, group homes, hospitals, and State facilities taking care of children, elderly people as well Developmentally Disabled and Mentally I'll individuals. I am a people person and love to work with people! I am very dependable and I am a very fast learner. I listen to the needs and concerns of the individual(s) that I am taking care of (working for) and I try to take care of everything asked of me. I address concerns immediately and try to resolve them (or ease them) to the best of my ability! I love to have fun. I am a home body, I don't party. I am excellent with children and children seem to really like me. I can cook, clean, give medicine if needed, swim, go to the park, take children to extra curricular activities, give baths, and put to bed with a bedtime story if that's what needed. I've done it all!!

Hi, my name is Vanessa Phillips. I am a mother of two, a daughter (8) and a son (3). I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 8 years now. I have worked in pretty much every area of my field such as geriatrics, hospice, home care, assisted living, and so on. I love the Nursing field and will be continuing my career as I got accepted into LLCC's ADN program beginning this Fall. I have worked so hard for this opportunity and hope to become an RN in 2023 after graduation and passing my boards. I am very passionate about Nursing and I believe this shows in my work and everyday life. I have a mothering, patient nature about myself and love to care for others by being helpful, promoting independence, and making great differences in their lives. I am a hardworking, team player, but I also prefer to be on a one on one basis with clients as I tend to provide quality care and attention to them because that is usually what most seek, companionship. I am very proud of moving out of my mother's house at 19, I experienced many setbacks with COVID-19 going on while I was graduating, but I still managed to find my own place and I've been living on my own for over a year now.
