Hello my name is Dimitra Peroulas, and I am very interested becoming a caregiver for your loved one. I have been a caregiver for 14 years. I first began this line of work when my mother began to show signs of dementia. Since then, I have worked with clients who have had Alzheimer's, mobility problems, Parkinson's, UTI's, and other serious ailments. Today, I am a certified caregiver by Abcor and I have experience in bathing, dressing, cleaning, cooking, feeding, and managing medication. My main goal is to show compassionate care in order to not only make my clients feel comfortable and safe, but to also help them work towards a better state of health. I started with my mother, who had Alzheimer's Disease. my continued experience was for the agencies of the Hellenic Foundation, European American Association, and Private clients such as Stella Hllis, and Hariklia Stratigakis. I also was a caregiver at the Hollywood house, in downtown chicago, which was a nursing home at which i was a caregiver for Helen Pavichevic and Kostas Magafas. i am very experienced in changing diapers, cleaning, cooking, preparing clients for exercise, and other such tasks that go with the title of a caregiver.
