I became a CNA because I find absolute joy in helping others. There is nothing better than restoring one's dignity and helping them stay in the comfort of their own homes. I love the difference I can make by just simply doing my job. I personally couldn't see myself doing anything other than this. Just to tell you a little about myself; My name is Nicole and I am 28 years old. I have a wonderful Husband and together we have an amazing 3 year old little girl. I graduated in 2009 from Genesis Healthcare Institute in Bolingbrook, IL. I majored in Patient Care Technician (PCT) with a great emphasis put on Alzheimer's and Dementia care. I also received my Phlebotomy Technician certification and my EKG Technician Certification. Not to mention my CPR/BLS certification as well. I completed one clinical rotation at a nursing home in Bolingbrook. I worked for a Home Care Agency for 2 years before I began to stay home with my Daughter. I currently am employed as a Radiology Assistant at my local hospital but I am not getting the hours I need and I truly miss home care. So I am ideally looking for a long term position with a great Client!
