I became a caregiver because I enjoy taking care of those who can no longer do for themselves. I also became a caregiver because I thought that it would be the perfect stepping stone for nursing. I love being a caregiver because I enjoy taking care of people and helping others. I also enjoy how personal the work is, one can really get to know the patient and family. I am proud of everything I have accomplished in my profession however the one thing that means the most is not even 6 months into my career I was given the position of team leader, this means all new teams members were orientated by me and my professional opinion was valued during evaluations. Personally I am a very outgoing person who loves to be involved. I am a very hard working and reliable person and love working on my own, which is why I believe home health would be the perfect position for me. I understand that regardless of age and needs the transition of having a caregiver is difficult for family members, therefore my job is not only for the patient but for family members as well. I hope that you will allow me to be apart of your life transition as I am excited for you to be apart of mine.
